My name is Ana Mangialardo (previously Blazanin) and I have been a Toronto Personal Trainer for over 10 years. In March of 2010 when I had my daughter, I realized the importance and convenience of being able to train at home. Most importantly I was reminded of the capacity at which you can work-out solely at home to achieve desired results. The scope is endless and there are significant advantages. About me... Even as a child I was always very active; ball in hand and a whistle around my neck, I was ready to go. I continued to participate in various fitness-related activities and was very involved in sports. I played varsity soccer and in my last year at York University, I was named co-captain. I also competed in university level track & field.
Although I had always enjoyed strength training, it wasn't until running track that I began to really focus on proper execution, sport specific training and proper nutrition. I was persuaded to enter my first natural body building competition with world Natural Sports in Toronto in 2002, and I was absolutely captivated by the entire experience. I developed a sincere passion for sculpting my body, and continued to compete for several years while wondering how I could become a Toronto Personal Trainer?
After my last competition in 2006, I began to focus on Personal Training clients for fitness model and figure shows. Their transformations were absolutely incredible, and I found it even more rewarding to be back stage instead of on stage. I remember having two of my clients on stage for their first shows... I was so proud I cried.
In 2009, my husband and I opened a health bar in Toronto. I continued my career as a Toronto Personal Trainer but also focused on the nutritional aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, due especially to bad timing (right in the middle of the global economic crisis) and other uncontrolable circumstances we shut down our health bar 2 years later. However, the experience was very insightful, rewarding and resourceful. This changed my focus back on to being a great Toronto Personal Trainer.
I do not buy the "I don't have time" excuse, but the majority of the population has deemed this to be true for themselves. Every day we make all sorts of commitments to work, family and friends, what about ourselves? Yes, life can get hectic...but taking 30-60 minutes to exercise a few times a week to focus on yourself especially your health is a very short time commitment with long-term benefits.
